Operations should be designed, not babysat.
TaskMate is an operations-engineering company focused on helping businesses build more reliable ways for work to move between people, processes, and technology.
Rather than starting with a specific software platform or automation tool, our solutions begin with the business process itself: what needs to happen, who is responsible, where information needs to move, what can fail, and how success should be measured.
Solutions may involve process redesign, system integration, automation, artificial intelligence, reporting, or a combination of technologies. The objective is not automation for its own sake. The objective is a business operation that runs more reliably.
Better work starts with better systems.
- Mission
- Change the way people experience work.
- Belief
- People deserve systems that respect their time and attention.
- Design Principle
- Fix the system before asking people to compensate for it.
At TaskMate, we believe in improving the conditions around work without deciding what meaningful work should mean for someone else. The goal is to remove unnecessary operational friction while preserving the judgment and choices that belong to people.
About the Founder
TaskMate was founded by Jorge Hernandez, a Navy veteran and systems-focused business and technology professional with experience identifying operational bottlenecks, designing technical systems, and improving administrative workflows across multiple industries.
Hernandez has over 11 years of experience working inside and managing business operations across banking, administration, office management, and technology. He also holds an MBA, a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. That combination of business, engineering, AI, and security disciplines shapes how we at TaskMate approach operational system design.
TaskMate's Approach
TaskMate is vendor-neutral. Existing systems are kept when they work. Technology is replaced only when the operating problem justifies it. Automation is used where automation makes sense, while human judgment remains in the workflow where human judgment provides the better control.
The goal is not to make a business dependent on more software. The goal is to create systems that make work easier to see, easier to manage, and less dependent on owners or managers manually checking every step.
Have a process that keeps requiring manual follow-up?
We can review how the work currently moves, identify where it becomes unreliable, and determine whether a Managed Workflow would make sense.
